The maximum height is 84 inches.
The person controlling the sled has to be at least 16 years old. Each sled can hold 375 pounds or 330 pounds in wet conditions. The ride has a maximum speed of 27 mph. An adult ticket is $18 with discounted rates available for children and members of the military. The Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster is even open on Christmas Day from 4-11 pm. This coaster is the first in the world to have four uplifts. The height requirement to ride alone is 56 inches with a 38-inch requirement to ride tandem. The person controlling the sled must be older than 16 years of age. The maximum height is 84 inches. The ride is nine minutes long with a max speed of 30 mph. The Coaster at Goats on the Roof is an exciting journey through the hills of Tennessee with speeds that reach just under 30 mph. The coaster accommodates single or double riders, and yes — there are real-life goats at this attraction. Riders in the "driver" seat must be between 54-84 inches tall. Riders can ride along if they are at least 38 inches tall. Cart weight must be under 375 pounds.
At the time of this writing, rides start at $12 as a special rate, according to their website. The Coaster at Goats on the Roof is open daily and located at 1341 Wears Valley Road in Pigeon Forge. Located close to Pigeon Forge in Sevierville, Skyland Ranch offers a new mountain coaster to the area called the Wild Stallion. The ride is more than eight minutes long and covers 1.25 miles at a speed that the rider can control. Riders should be at least 38 inches tall, and riders under 54 inches need to ride with an adult. Rides start at $18.99 for adults with discounts available for children. Skyland Ranch is a new attraction in the area and also offers a miniature animal farm, a Skyride and live entertainment. 5. Rowdy Bear
Skyland Ranch has a sister company in the Smokies known as Rowdy Bear. And while they don't offer a traditional mountain coaster at this location, they do have a Power Coaster that is the area's first Alpine Flyer. The attraction accommodates riders 40 inches tall and up. Riders should be 47 inches tall to ride alone. The attraction also has a tubing hill, which has snow tubing in the winter and summer tubing in the off-season.
