Best Mountain View Cabins in Pigeon Forge: Top 9 Ranked

Renting a cabin is one of the absolute best ways to enjoy the Smokies. Sure, there are a lot of things that make the area a tourist hot spot — from the amusement parks and abundance of mini golf to the dinner shows and pancake houses. But the one thing that makes the area truly unique is the one thing that just can't be replicated: The mountains. And if you can be nestled right in them, why vacation any other way?

But with so many cabins to choose from, it can be intimidating to pick one. That's why we did the legwork for you, and we are proud to present our list of top cabins with mountain views in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the surrounding area. Each of the following cabins is available for rent on VRBO.

9. Looking into Heaven: Contemporary cabin with spa tubs, fire pit, theater (Gatlinburg)

There are many reasons this cabin ranks in our top nine list, but one of the most notable is its easy access. Sometimes it's hard to tell how far up a curvy mountain you'll have to go when renting a cabin online, and that thought can be a bit intimidating if there's a chance for inclement weather. But this cabin is an easy seven-minute drive from the Parkway. Even better, it has a paved driveway with flat parking, which easily accommodates four vehicles. But you won't be sacrificing scenery for practicality, because the views from the deck are unobstructed during all seasons.

And of course, on the deck, you'll find a hot tub, fire pit and bar-top seating. (Is a cabin really complete without a hot tub?) Each of the four bedrooms comes equipped with a king-size bed, TV and bathroom so no one will be fighting over the best room in the house. And since no one's fighting over which rooms to claim, there will be more time for enjoying the wet bar and entertainment area, which has a pool, shuffleboard and a theater. Two minutes down the road, guests will have access to the Association Clubhouse, which features a swimming pool and tennis courts. Learn more or reserve now on VRBO.
